Skee-ball league software — every frame counts itself

League night, frame by frame. Players post each game ball by ball from their phones, the night standings total themselves, and season points land when the night closes.

What it is

Skee-ball looks simple until somebody has to keep a league's books: ten frames, six balls a frame, three games a player, and a room full of totals. Contender OS keeps them. A league night opens on the signed-up roster, and each player posts their games frame by frame — every ball a classic ring value. Night standings total each player's games, with the best single game breaking ties, and closing the night writes season points off the venue's points table, with drop weeks supported and a frozen finals table at season's end.

How the night runs

STEPThe night opens on the rosterThe scheduler opens the night at start time — or staff open it directly — and the signed-up field is seeded in.
STEPPlayers post their gamesEach game goes in frame by frame from a phone — 10 frames, 6 balls a frame in the standard game; the format numbers are venue settings.
STEPStandings build as games landTotals update live, and a player's best single game breaks a tie. Staff can void a mis-posted game, and it stops counting at once.
STEPThe night closes into the seasonPlacements earn season points, the worst weeks drop where configured, and the season freezes with a champion at the end.

What's built in

  • Frame-by-frame scoring — full games posted ball by ball, validated against the classic ring values (0/10/20/30/40/50/100).
  • Venue formats — frames per game, balls per frame, and games per player are settings (standard game: 10 frames × 6 balls, 3 games a player).
  • Live night standings — counted games total as they post; the best single game breaks total ties.
  • Season points and drop weeks — placements pay off a configurable points table, with drop weeks and a frozen finals table and champion.
  • Staff voids — a mis-posted game can be voided by staff; it stops counting immediately and frees a repost.
  • Public standings page — the season table, live until it freezes at completion.

Questions

How is a skee-ball game scored?

In the standard game, each player rolls 6 balls per frame across 10 frames, and every ball must land on a classic ring value. Players post each game frame by frame from their phones, and the system validates the shape and totals as it goes.

What does it cost?

Contender OS is $99/mo per venue for the full system, or $59/mo locked for 12 months on the Founding Operator rate with your first season free. Season passes run $149 for 6 weeks or $249 for 12 weeks, and the brackets-only Bracket Box tier is $39/mo. One flat price per venue — no per-player fees on the monthly plans.

What does my venue need?

Your lanes, and players with phones. Games are posted from the lane on phones — no app install, and no paper scorecards to add up.

How does the season work?

Each night's placements earn season points from the venue's points table. Where drop weeks are set, a player's worst weeks stop counting. When the season completes, the table freezes and the leader is crowned champion.
